During my recent stay at Pousada, I found a unique blend of luxury and value that’s hard to come by these days. The property itself is well-kept, reflecting a soothing atmosphere inspired by the orient. The outdoor swimming pool is a great spot to relax after those morning surf sessions; however, I did wish for more sun loungers to soak up that quintessential Aussie sun. Housekeeping was efficient yet unobtrusive, and the staff’s hospitality added a welcoming touch to my experience. Breakfast was a satisfying affair, featuring a buffet that sourced local produce—a nod toward sustainability that any environmentalist would appreciate. While the room had all the essentials, including air conditioning and tea facilities, I did question the cost given the additional services like the wellness centre could add up quickly. Still, considering the overall experience, this is a sound option if you're travelling with family and looking for a good balance between comfort and cost in an eco-conscious environment.
